On this course, you’ll get practical experience in all the key skills a
plasterer needs:
- The Construction Industry – see how plastering fits into
building projects and learn about the different trades on site - Health and Safety – work safely and confidently on site,
following the rules real plasterers use every day - Tools and Materials – learn to use plastering tools
correctly and prepare materials for your work - Applying Plaster – practice smooth finishes on walls and
ceilings, including patching and screeding - External and Decorative Finishes – explore how to protect
and finish surfaces outside and inside buildings
You will spend most of your time learning in our well-equipped,
industry-standard workshops, where you’ll practise these skills in a supportive
and realistic environment. As your confidence grows, you will take on more
complex tasks that reflect real-life plastering work on site.

skills competitions such as KFE4Skills and contribute to community projects.
