Advice and Guidance

Our Student Support team at EKC Folkestone College provide a range of free, fair and confidential services for students, staff and the public. They are here to help you make choices which are right for you

Our services include:

  • Tailored course advice and guidance
  • Careers advice and planning
  • Advanced Learner Loan advice
  • ESOL support
  • Individual progression support up to Level 1
  • Range of workshops for Level 2 and 3 students
  • University advice and UCAS application support

We also hold a series of guidance sessions where you can book an appointment in College to speak to an advisor about a range of topics. These include career progression, funding advice, course guidance and support services.

Meet your Careers Officer

Chantal Jackman

Our Careers Officer, Chantal Jackman, is located in the Student Zone, on the ground Floor of the Welcome Building, and is available to talk to you regarding careers, further study, or any progression questions you may have.
