The HTQ in Construction is highly regarded by employers, and students who successfully complete the programme should benefit from enhanced employment prospects in fields such as architecture, construction, estate management and surveying.

Throughout the year, students take part in regular industry relevant trips, these include construction site visits and warehouse tours allowing you to see the inner workings of the construction industry firsthand.

We also benefit our community by taking part in social action projects which help with development and skill progression, as well as making a difference locally.

Previous construction experience is necessary as this will be developed during the programme. We are seeking enthusiastic students who are committed to pursuing a career in the built environment. We would expect you to keep yourself up to date with developments in the industry by visiting exhibitions and reading books and magazines.

You will be required to wear suitable PPE including steel toe cap boots when in the workshop or attending site visits.
