Explore the Three Stages of Multimedia Production

Throughout the course, you will engage with three key stages of the
multimedia production process:

Pre-Production

The foundation of any successful project, this stage focuses on planning and
preparation. You will brainstorm ideas, define objectives, create scripts or
storyboards, source resources, and organise production schedules to ensure a
smooth workflow.

Production

This is where ideas come to life. You will gain hands-on experience capturing
video footage, recording audio, shooting photographs, designing graphics, and
creating interactive content using professional equipment and industry-standard
software.

Post-Production

The final stage involves refining and enhancing your content. You will
develop skills in video editing, audio mixing, colour correction, and visual
effects, as well as designing printed materials and optimising content for
various platforms and devices. This stage also includes adding transitions,
titles, and captions to create polished, professional-quality work.

You will study in our multimedia studio and professional workspaces, learning
from experienced industry professional lecturers who bring real-world expertise
into the classroom. Additionally, guest speakers from the media industry will
provide valuable insights into career opportunities and industry trends.

Our course prioritises both academic knowledge and hands-on skill
development, preparing you for success in a fast-paced and competitive industry.
You’ll also have the chance to collaborate on real-world projects with external
partners, including local and national businesses, charities, and community
organisations, allowing you to gain valuable professional experience and build
an impressive portfolio.
