My Experience as an Adult Learner

Louie Silcock

“I’m on the tools at the minute and taking on foreman and supervisor roles. I want to develop further which is what studying here will help me to do.

“What I think is useful in my course is that I can put the skills I learn into practice on the job. In the management side of things, especially, I feel like I can now direct and lead with more confidence knowing that my leadership is becoming more professional.

“I also really like the group of people that I’m working with. Everyone gets on well and helps each other out if there are any problems or challenges. Our Lecturer runs the course really well and is always there to help when needed.”
