“Coming back to Education as an adult really pushed me out of my comfort zone. It has shown me that I am capable of achieving great things. Recently I told my son, who is due to take his 11+, it is not about luck, you have to put in the hard work. So I’m glad I can set an example.”

The course has given me the opportunity to gain real experience in education. I’ve had the chance to ‘try before I buy’ and learn the role of a TA without the pressures of full-time employment which has been really helpful.

I was quite apprehensive about coming back into education as an adult. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but our tutor was really welcoming, and the workload has been very manageable. It’s not as scary as you think.

Shelley Godden

I’ve really enjoyed the course, especially learning more about Special Educational Needs and how we can support SEN students. The course has helped me realise I want to continue studying to become a Forest School Leader.
