The KFE4Skills 2026 competition, endorsed by WorldSkills UK, saw many of our students competing across Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy, with medals won on the last day of the competition.
Having over 20 years experience in the Beauty industry, our Beauty Programme Director, Sara-Lee, will teach you all you need to know about the standards, skills and expertise required to make Beauty your career.
She has been working in Further Education for seven years, teaching the next generation of Beauty professionals.
Her own business, ‘The Face Clinic’ has also been running since 2010.
You will work closely with Million Dollar Facials, a diverse skincare brand who focus on medical graded skincare.
Once you have completed your course, you could be offered the opportunity to become one of their platinum technicians.

You’re also supported in your next steps with work experience placements in local salons.
Thanks to these experiences, several of our past students are now working at top brands such as Clarins, No7 and local spas.
Trips to expos such as Salon International; a renowned Hair and Beauty exhibition held at London’s ExCel Centre, give you the opportunity to meet new stylists and try out the latest products.
There are also opportunities to grab freebies, including new styling tools, combs, and samples of hair products.

The Salon features dedicated hair and beauty areas, fully-equipped with professional products, tools, and treatment rooms to give you the experience you need to thrive in the industry.
Throughout the year, the Salon is open to the public, giving you the opportunity to work with real clients and practise a wide range of services, from styling, and colouring to manicures, skincare, and massage.
Leila was inspired to enter the Beauty industry thanks to her parents, with her Mum working as a Beauty Therapist and her Dad working as a Barber.
She had been looking forward to taking part KFE4Skills, as her first Beauty competition, and was very pleased to have received a Gold Medal.
